FAQ — Industrial Cleaning Products & Equipment | ClenX

Question 1

What is the best industrial floor cleaner for large commercial facilities in India?

Accepted Answer

For large commercial facilities, ClenX CX-7 Floor Cleaner is the recommended choice. It is a high-concentration neutral pH floor cleaner formulated for auto scrubbers and mop systems, effective on marble, granite, vitrified tiles, and epoxy-coated floors. It is BIS IS 4011 approved and safe for daily use in hospitals, airports, malls, and manufacturing plants. A single 20-litre drum covers up to 40,000 sq ft at standard dilution.

Question 2

Which disinfectant is approved for use in hospitals and pharmaceutical facilities in India?

Accepted Answer

ClenX ProDisinfect 500 is a hospital-grade, broad-spectrum disinfectant that meets BIS approval standards and is classified as Hospital Grade. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, and enveloped viruses including MRSA and Hepatitis B surface antigen. It is widely used in ICUs, OTs, pharmaceutical clean rooms, and food processing areas. The product carries an OSHA-compliant Safety Data Sheet and is formulated to meet REACH compliance standards.

Question 3

What is the difference between an industrial degreaser and a general-purpose cleaner?

Accepted Answer

An industrial degreaser like ClenX IndustriDegreaser HD uses alkaline chemistry and surfactant blends specifically engineered to break down heavy grease, mineral oils, cutting fluids, and carbon deposits found in manufacturing and food processing environments. General-purpose cleaners are pH-neutral and designed for light soil removal on everyday surfaces. For kitchen exhaust systems, CNC machines, conveyor belts, and engine bays, an industrial degreaser is essential — a general-purpose cleaner will not penetrate or emulsify heavy hydrocarbon soils.

Question 4

Is ClenX SurfaceSan Pro safe for food-contact surfaces?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ClenX SurfaceSan Pro is NSF/ANSI 2 certified for use on food-contact surfaces, making it suitable for commercial kitchens, food processing lines, canteen counters, and FSSAI-regulated food facilities. It requires no rinse at standard dilution and leaves no harmful residue. It is also effective against common food-borne pathogens including Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria.

Question 5

What certifications do ClenX cleaning chemicals carry?

Accepted Answer

ClenX chemicals are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems. Individual products carry BIS IS 4011 approval, NSF/ANSI 2 certification (food-contact surfaces), Hospital Grade classification, OSHA-compliant SDS documentation, REACH compliance, and OECD 301B biodegradability certification. Full Safety Data Sheets are available on request for all SKUs.

Question 6

Can I get ClenX cleaning chemicals in bulk for a large facility or janitorial company?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ClenX supplies directly to facility management companies, janitorial contractors, hospitals, hotels, and industrial plants across India. All chemical products are available in 20-litre drums. Volume pricing, credit terms, and scheduled delivery are available for orders above ₹50,000. Contact our sales team at sales@clenx.in or call +91 98772 88242 to discuss a supply agreement.

Question 7

What is the best floor scrubber machine for a warehouse or factory in Punjab?

Accepted Answer

The ClenX X55B-PRO is our flagship ride-on auto scrubber, designed for large industrial floors above 5,000 sq ft. It features a 55-litre solution tank, dual BLDC brush motors, and a 48V lithium battery system with up to 4 hours of continuous runtime. It is widely used in warehouses, automotive plants, cold storage facilities, and logistics hubs across Punjab and North India. For medium-sized areas (1,000–5,000 sq ft), the ClenX SC-154 walk-behind scrubber-dryer is the preferred choice.

Question 8

What is the difference between a scrubber-dryer and a sweeper?

Accepted Answer

A scrubber-dryer (like the ClenX SC-154 or X55B-PRO) scrubs the floor with a cleaning solution and simultaneously vacuums the dirty water, leaving the floor dry and safe to walk on immediately. A sweeper collects dry debris — dust, sand, and loose particles — using brushes and a hopper. For facilities with both wet and dry soiling (most industrial and commercial floors), a scrubber-dryer is the primary machine. Sweepers are used as a pre-sweep step or in dry areas like warehouses with heavy dust.

Question 9

How do I choose between a ride-on and a walk-behind floor scrubber?

Accepted Answer

The choice depends on floor area and layout. Walk-behind scrubbers (ClenX SC-154) are ideal for areas between 500 and 5,000 sq ft, narrow aisles, and facilities with obstacles. Ride-on scrubbers (ClenX X55B-PRO) are designed for open floor areas above 5,000 sq ft where operator fatigue and cleaning speed are priorities. As a rule of thumb: if your facility takes more than 2 hours to clean with a walk-behind, a ride-on will pay for itself in labour savings within 12 months.

Question 10

What is a BLDC motor and why does it matter in cleaning equipment?

Accepted Answer

BLDC (Brushless DC) motors are electronically commutated motors with no physical brushes, which means significantly lower maintenance, longer service life (typically 3–5x longer than brushed motors), and higher energy efficiency. ClenX equipment uses BLDC motors in brush decks and drive systems. This translates to lower total cost of ownership, fewer breakdowns, and consistent torque output even as the battery discharges — critical for maintaining cleaning performance across a full shift.

Question 11

Do ClenX floor scrubbers work with any cleaning chemical, or only ClenX products?

Accepted Answer

ClenX machines are compatible with any low-foam, neutral to mildly alkaline cleaning concentrate. ClenX chemical products are formulated and tested specifically for use with ClenX equipment, ensuring optimal foam control, correct dilution ratios, and no damage to seals or tanks. Using third-party high-foam detergents can cause overflow from the recovery tank and damage the vacuum motor. We recommend ClenX CX-7 or IndustriDegreaser HD for best results with our scrubbers.

Question 12

What is the warranty and after-sales support for ClenX equipment?

Accepted Answer

All ClenX equipment carries a 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects. BLDC motors and lithium battery packs carry an extended 18-month warranty. Spare parts — including brush rolls, squeegee blades, filters, and batteries — are stocked and dispatched within 48 hours across India. On-site service is available in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, and Himachal Pradesh. For other regions, remote diagnostics and courier-based repair are available. Contact sales@clenx.in for a service request.

Question 13

Does ClenX deliver industrial cleaning products across India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ClenX ships chemicals and equipment pan-India. Chemical orders (5L and 20L) are dispatched within 2 business days via surface freight. Equipment is dispatched within 5–7 business days and delivered via dedicated logistics partners with insurance cover. Free delivery is available on orders above ₹25,000. For bulk chemical orders (100L+) or multiple equipment units, dedicated freight arrangements are made with estimated delivery timelines communicated at the time of order.

Question 14

Can I place a bulk order for a hospital, hotel chain, or facility management company?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ClenX works directly with hospitals, hotel chains, facility management companies (FMCs), and government institutions. Bulk orders qualify for volume pricing, GST invoicing (GST: 03ASLPD4932H1ZZ), credit terms, and scheduled repeat deliveries. Question 17

Which industrial cleaning products are suitable for food processing plants in India?

Accepted Answer

For food processing facilities, ClenX recommends: CX-7 Floor Cleaner (neutral pH, safe for food-zone floors), IndustriDegreaser HD (for equipment, conveyors, and exhaust hoods), SurfaceSan Pro (NSF/ANSI 2 certified for food-contact surfaces), and ProDisinfect 500 (broad-spectrum disinfection of processing areas). All products are REACH compliant and carry OECD 301B biodegradability certification, meeting FSSAI and BRC audit requirements.

Question 18

What cleaning equipment is recommended for hospitals and healthcare facilities?

Accepted Answer

Hospitals require equipment that minimises cross-contamination and supports infection control protocols. ClenX recommends the SC-154 scrubber-dryer for ward corridors and OPD areas, the VC30 wet-dry vacuum for spot cleaning and spill response, and the UC40 upholstery cleaner for mattresses, chairs, and soft furnishings. All equipment is compatible with hospital-grade disinfectants and features smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces that do not harbour pathogens.

Question 19

What are the best cleaning solutions for warehouses and logistics hubs?

Accepted Answer

Warehouses and logistics hubs typically deal with dust, tyre marks, oil drips, and heavy floor soiling. ClenX recommends the X55B-PRO ride-on scrubber for large open floor areas, IndustriDegreaser HD for oil and grease removal at loading docks and vehicle bays, and CX-7 for routine floor maintenance. For high-bay racking areas with dust accumulation, the KS-040 industrial vacuum provides powerful suction for dust and debris without raising airborne particles.
